Commercial Warranty
Hospitality and professional use
This warranty covers KROF products used in restaurants, cafΓ©s, bars, hotels, catering businesses, event venues and other commercial settings. Commercial service is far more demanding than home use, so these terms differ from our Home Use Warranty.
KROF cutlery
- Lifetime structural warranty: if a piece breaks, cracks or comes apart because of a fault in materials or manufacture, we'll replace it, for the life of the piece.
- 12 months on coloured finishes (Matte Black and Champagne Gold): if the coating peels, flakes or bubbles because of a manufacturing fault within 12 months of purchase, we'll replace the piece.
KROF steak knives
- Lifetime warranty on the blade: if a blade snaps or cracks because of a fault in materials or manufacture, we'll replace the knife.
- 12 months on the handle and coating: if a handle comes loose, or the coating peels, flakes or bubbles, because of a manufacturing fault within 12 months of purchase, we'll replace the knife.
- KROF steak knives must be hand washed. Putting a steak knife in a dishwasher, including a commercial dishwasher, voids its warranty.
Cover applies to products bought new from KROF or an authorised KROF stockist. Proof of purchase is required.
What isn't covered
- Normal commercial wear: scratches, scuffs, plate marks and changes in shine
- Gradual wear or thinning of coloured finishes from use, washing and polishing. This is how the finish is designed to age, and it isn't a fault.
- A steak knife edge dulling with use, or damage caused by sharpening
- Any steak knife that has been put in a dishwasher
- Damage from chlorine, bleach or other harsh chemicals, or from soaking
- Dropping, bending, levering or other misuse
- Pieces modified or repaired by anyone other than KROF
Finishes in commercial service
All KROF cutlery finishes are tested in commercial kitchens, including commercial dishwashers. In high-volume service, coloured finishes will show wear sooner than they would at home. Brushed Silver and Polished Silver show the least visible wear over time.
How to make a claim
Email hello@krof.co with your order number or proof of purchase, photos of the affected pieces and a short description of the issue and how the pieces are washed. We'll reply within two business days.
What we'll do
If your claim is accepted, we'll replace the faulty pieces with the same item or the closest current equivalent. KROF pays for the replacement and its delivery.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits of this warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under the law. To the extent permitted by law, KROF is not liable under this warranty for indirect loss, including loss of revenue or service.

Iβve been using KROF since they first launched and have loved them ever since. They have such a premium look and feel, with a beautiful weight to them while still being sleek and slimline. They work perfectly for filming recipe content and styling food for work, but are also genuinely lovely to eat with day to day. I also recently received the steak knives and theyβre incredible.

I have had many types of knifes and forks etcβ¦. Simply because I love luxury items and I would consider very highly that the new KROF range is very much a luxury item for the dinner table. The design is very unique - if you look closely and the non bend of the materials is an outstanding feature. KROF colours, finishes and the overall look and feel is luxurious - even for the bigger size man. So I will be making a second purchase for more of the KROF product so I have enough to suit at least 8 guests. The great thing also is that my kids love the design and feel too. The dinner table we think is a place where everyone can get together and relax, eat great food, laugh and all with the touch of luxury in their hands. An outstanding product from Australia yet again.

The black cutlery is elegant and attractive. The fork is lovely to use. However, the the base of the knife, having a square profile, is a little uncomfortable to use.
