Home Use Warranty
This warranty covers KROF products bought new from krof.co or an authorised KROF stockist and used in the home. For restaurants, cafΓ©s, hotels and other businesses, see our Commercial Warranty.
KROF cutlery
- Lifetime structural warranty: if a knife, fork, spoon or teaspoon breaks, cracks or comes apart because of a fault in its materials or manufacture during normal household use, we'll replace it. This cover lasts for the life of the piece and belongs to the original owner, including anyone who received KROF as a gift.
- 12 months on coloured finishes (Matte Black and Champagne Gold): if the coating peels, flakes or bubbles because of a manufacturing fault within 12 months of purchase, we'll replace the piece.
KROF steak knives
- Lifetime warranty on the blade: if a blade snaps or cracks because of a fault in its materials or manufacture during normal household use, we'll replace the knife.
- 12 months on the handle and coating: if a handle comes loose, or the coating peels, flakes or bubbles, because of a manufacturing fault within 12 months of purchase, we'll replace the knife.
- KROF steak knives must be hand washed. Putting a steak knife in the dishwasher voids its warranty. See our care instructions.
What isn't covered
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, marks and changes in shine over time
- Gradual wear or thinning of coloured finishes from use, washing and polishing. This is how the finish is designed to age, and it isn't a fault.
- A steak knife edge dulling with use, or damage caused by sharpening
- Any steak knife that has been put in a dishwasher
- Champagne Gold pieces that have been put in a dishwasher
- Damage from not following our care instructions, including soaking or harsh chemicals
- Misuse or accidental damage, such as levering, prying, bending or dropping
- Commercial use (covered separately by our Commercial Warranty)
- Pieces that have been modified, or weren't bought new from krof.co or an authorised KROF stockist
How to make a claim
Email hello@krof.co with your order number or proof of purchase, photos of the faulty piece and a short description of what happened. We'll reply within two business days. If we need the piece back, we'll send you a prepaid return label.
What we'll do
If your claim is accepted, we'll replace the faulty piece with the same item, or the closest equivalent if it's no longer made. KROF pays for the replacement and its delivery. Making a claim costs you nothing.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits of this warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under the law.

Iβve been using KROF since they first launched and have loved them ever since. They have such a premium look and feel, with a beautiful weight to them while still being sleek and slimline. They work perfectly for filming recipe content and styling food for work, but are also genuinely lovely to eat with day to day. I also recently received the steak knives and theyβre incredible.

I have had many types of knifes and forks etcβ¦. Simply because I love luxury items and I would consider very highly that the new KROF range is very much a luxury item for the dinner table. The design is very unique - if you look closely and the non bend of the materials is an outstanding feature. KROF colours, finishes and the overall look and feel is luxurious - even for the bigger size man. So I will be making a second purchase for more of the KROF product so I have enough to suit at least 8 guests. The great thing also is that my kids love the design and feel too. The dinner table we think is a place where everyone can get together and relax, eat great food, laugh and all with the touch of luxury in their hands. An outstanding product from Australia yet again.

The black cutlery is elegant and attractive. The fork is lovely to use. However, the the base of the knife, having a square profile, is a little uncomfortable to use.
