KROF Domestic Use Warranty (Consumer Warranty)
1. Our Promise
At KROF we stand behind the quality of our products. All our cutlery is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against faults in materials or workmanship when used in normal domestic conditions and in accordance with our Care instructions.
This warranty is an additional promise on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded or limited.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty applies only to defects that occur under normal home use, including:
• Faults in materials
• Faults in workmanship
• Structural failures not caused by misuse
If your cutlery fails due to one of these issues within 12 months, we will repair or replace the item, or offer a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Normal wear and tear (scratches, dulling, patina)
• Misuse or accidental damage
• Improper care (not following our care guidelines)
• Commercial use, catering use, or restaurant use
• Dishwasher damage from harsh cycles, chemicals, or soak cycles
• Abuse or neglect

4. How Long the Warranty Lasts
Coverage begins on the date of purchase and lasts for 12 months. You must have proof of purchase to make a claim.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To lodge a claim:

Our team will review and respond within a reasonable time
We may ask you to return the product at our discretion.
6. Remedies
If a defect is accepted under warranty we will:
• Repair the product (where practicable)
• Replace it with the same or similar item
• Provide a refund if a replacement is unavailable or unsuitable
7. Consumer Guarantees
Your warranty rights are in addition to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. You may still be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under those laws even after the warranty period or where the warranty doesn’t apply.
