Brushed Silver or Polished Silver:
These sets are 18/10 Stainless Steel which is the perfect material for cutlery. It is hard wearing and corrosion resistant.
- Brushed Silver and Polished Silver cutlery can be washed in the dishwasher.
- Wash your pieces before their first use with warm water and any mild household detergent.
- Acidity and salt in food can cause damage to stainless steel if left unwashed too long. Make sure you clean your pieces after every use to keep them in top condition.
- Do not leave your cutlery to soak.
- Never use an abrasive cloth or scourer, this will cause irreparable scratches.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.
- Use a soft, lint free cloth with hot water and vinegar to clean your pieces if marks occur.
- Over time and depending on it's use, KROF cutlery will show signs of wear. As with all tools, this is completely normal.
Matte Black:
This finish is 18/10 Stainless Steel with a robust black titanium coating applied using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).
- Matte Black cutlery can be washed in the dishwasher.
- Wash your pieces before their first use with warm water and any mild household detergent.
- Rinse your cutlery before placing in the dishwasher.
- Acidity and salt in food can cause damage to stainless steel if left unwashed too long. Make sure you clean your pieces after every use to keep them in top condition.
- Do not leave your cutlery to soak.
- Never use an abrasive cloth or scourer, this will cause irreparable scratches to the coating.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.
- Use a soft, lint free cloth with hot water and vinegar to clean your pieces if marks occur.

Brushed Gold & Champagne Gold:
- Brushed Gold and Champagne Gold are hand wash only and are not dishwasher safe. Wash gently with warm soapy water and mild household detergent, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Dishwashers and dishwasher tablets can corrode the PVD coating.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.
- Use mild dishwashing detergent only.
- Wash your pieces before their first use with warm water and any mild household detergent.
- Acidity and salt in food can cause damage to stainless steel if left unwashed too long. Make sure you clean your pieces after every use to keep them in top condition.
- Do not leave your cutlery to soak.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.

Steak Knives:
Like all high-quality kitchen knives, a dishwasher can be your steak knife's worst enemy. The jump from hot to cold, the harsh detergents and the knocking around inside a dishwasher can shorten the life of a knife significantly and dull its sharp edge faster than anything else. Our Matte Black and Brushed Silver finishes are resistant to dishwasher damage, but the blades themselves are not, so we recommend hand washing all KROF steak knives.
- Champagne Gold steak knives are hand wash only. Never put them in the dishwasher.
- Wash by hand in warm soapy water with a mild detergent, then dry straight away with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Don't leave your knives to soak.
- Store them so the blades aren't knocking against other utensils.
- Never use an abrasive cloth or scourer.
- Sharpen with a pull-through knife sharpener, which works only on the cutting edge and is gentle on the blade's finish. Avoid whetstones and any method that rubs across the face of the blade, as these can scratch or wear the finish. A fine line of bare steel along the very edge after sharpening is normal.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and within 30 days of purchase.

Warranty
Our 12 month warranty covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided.
It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use or misuse of the product.
