KROF cutlery is original Australian design, created in-house. Nobody else is designing their own ranges like this.
It’s made in the same factories as some of the best cutlery brands in the world, using high quality materials designed for durability, balance and everyday use.
You might think we’re more expensive at first glance. Most alternatives are mass-produced with cheap materials and no care. You can buy cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Compare us to products of the same quality, not the cheapest option on the shelf. When you do, our pricing is probably too cheap.
Used on MasterChef and trusted by top chefs and leading restaurants, KROF performs at a professional level in real kitchens, not just in a box.
We’ve been doing this for over 10 years and we stand behind our product with a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults.
This is cutlery designed for regular use. Solid in the hand, well balanced and built to last.
Stop replacing cutlery every few years.

Beautifully crafted instruments deserve a place alongside beautifully crafted food; and that eating is an art, deserving of artful tools.
We believe in never waiting for the perfect moment to use your best cutlery and dust off the special crockery; that there’s ceremony in today, and pleasure in right now.
The Polished Silver knife is for the classic purist. Made from high-grade, dishwasher safe 18/10 hand polished stainless steel and feature the signature four dot logo.

Protection and Care
Congratulations on your KROF purchase!
Brushed Silver or Polished Silver:
These sets are 18/10 Stainless Steel which is the perfect material for cutlery. It is hard wearing and corrosion resistant.
- Brushed Silver and Polished Silver cutlery can be washed in the dishwasher.
- Wash your pieces before their first use with warm water and any mild household detergent.
- Acidity and salt in food can cause damage to stainless steel if left unwashed too long. Make sure you clean your pieces after every use to keep them in top condition.
- Do not leave your cutlery to soak.
- Never use an abrasive cloth or scourer, this will cause irreparable scratches.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.
- Use a soft, lint free cloth with hot water and vinegar to clean your pieces if marks occur.
- Over time and depending on it's use, KROF cutlery will show signs of wear. As with all tools, this is completely normal.
Matte Black:
This finish is 18/10 Stainless Steel with a robust black titanium coating applied using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).

Brushed Gold & Champagne Gold:
- Brushed Gold and Champagne Gold are hand wash only and are not dishwasher safe. Wash gently with warm soapy water and mild household detergent, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Dishwashers and dishwasher tablets can corrode the PVD coating.
- Dry your pieces before putting them away with a soft, lint free cloth as detergent and water will leave marks or rust spots if left to air dry.
- Use mild dishwashing detergent only.

Steak Knives:
Like all high-quality kitchen knives, a dishwasher can be your steak knife's worst enemy. The jump from hot to cold, the harsh detergents and the knocking around inside a dishwasher can shorten the life of a knife significantly and dull its sharp edge faster than anything else. Our Matte Black and Brushed Silver finishes are resistant to dishwasher damage, but the blades themselves are not, so we recommend hand washing all KROF steak knives.
- Champagne Gold steak knives are hand wash only. Never put them in the dishwasher.
- Wash by hand in warm soapy water with a mild detergent, then dry straight away with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Don't leave your knives to soak.
- Store them so the blades aren't knocking against other utensils.
- Never use an abrasive cloth or scourer.
- Sharpen with a pull-through knife sharpener, which works only on the cutting edge and is gentle on the blade's finish. Avoid whetstones and any method that rubs across the face of the blade, as these can scratch or wear the finish. A fine line of bare steel along the very edge after sharpening is normal.
